A Launchpad Empowering Women Techies
She Builds Tech is a 3-month capacity-building program exclusively for women engineering students in Kerala. This initiative empowers participants through workshops, hackathons, mentorship, and project-building sessions and concludes with a Demo Day where participants showcase their projects to industry leaders and mentors, unlocking opportunities for funding, internships and recognition.
In a society where women often face barriers to pursuing tech careers, our program fosters an inclusive environment for learning, collaboration, and growth. By addressing challenges like lack of confidence, fear of failure, and limited role models, we provide mentorship and skill-building opportunities to inspire and empower women in deep tech and entrepreneurship.
Women in Tech KSUM is a sister community of IEDC Kerala, dedicated to fostering a vibrant ecosystem for women in technology and entrepreneurship. This initiative, powered by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), aims to bridge the gender gap in tech by providing mentorship, skill-building programs, and networking opportunities.

The program is exclusively for women engineering students in Kerala. We have 60 seats available for dedicated learners interested in technology and innovation.
The cohort is completely free of cost.

The selection process includes an online application followed by a review based on your skills and interest in tech and entrepreneurship.
Expect to dedicate around 6-8 hours per week for sessions, mentorship, and project work.
You'll complete a real-world project, gain practical skills, receive mentorship from industry experts, and have opportunities for funding and internship.

Yes, participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate.
